As the subject matter suggests, it’s SUBS TIME…!

If you have not already done so, I would be grateful if you could now pay your dues. The good news is that this year it is even easier to give us your cash.

You can:

• Pay any time (even from the comfort of your own sofa) by transferring straight into our bank account. If you are paying by this method (bank details available on request) then please use your surname followed by your membership number (e.g. “McGregor 1111”) in the reference field;
• Pay by card at the bar or over the phone during opening hours;
• Pay by cash by completing a form (available in the bar) placing it in an envelope with your cash and posting it through the office door; and
• Catch me in the office between 7pm and 9pm Monday to Friday during the two-week period starting Monday 7^th March. Depending on other commitments I may not be in every night, so please look out for the notices.

How much do I owe?

• Full (Adult) subs are £80 – this is you if you are aged over 18 and you have less than 20 years’ service under your belt.
• Adult Senior is £40 – this is you if you are over 60 years old and you have been a member for at least 20 consecutive years.
• Over 75 is £4 – this is you if you are over 75 years old and have been a member for at least 20 consecutive years. Please note that the rules were changed for this category at the AGM in November, and it affects about 20 members. Previously you just had to be over 75 to benefit from this, but now you also must have the 20 years’ service element. It is possible therefore that you have been paying £4 for the last 5 years, but you will now have to stump up £80.
• Intermediate (16 and 17 year olds) is £20.
• Juniors are £10.
• Remember to pay for your locker or cue holder should you have one – these are charged at £5 each.

If you have been paying by direct debit over the last 9 months you do not owe anything, but please remember that we kick-started these late and so the last payment will be taken on 10^th March. They will start again in May.

You cannot join the direct debit scheme to pay this year’s subs, but if you want to join to pay for 2023-2024 then please pick up a form in the Club, complete it and post it through the office door by 1^st April.
