Re-Opening

May 13, 2021

We re-open Monday 17th May!

Our opening hours from Monday will be:

  • Monday & Tuesday – 4.30pm to 10.30pm (bowling for the first two hours will be charged @50p per game and then £1 per game until close)
  • Wednesday – see below*
  • Thursday & Friday – 2pm to 10.30pm
  • Saturday – 11am to 10.30pm
  • Sunday – 1pm to 10.30pm**

* The Club will be closed on Wednesdays, with the exception of the three Wednesdays between 16th June and 7th July (open from 4.30pm). This is to allow members to watch the Euros which kick-off on 11th June. Also, to accommodate the Scotland vs Czech Republic game on Monday 14th June, we will open at 1pm.

** Committee is planning to run competitions on Sundays, either members only or Open events. Please keep an eye out for notices going up on the Club’s noticeboard and on the Club’s website and always book prior to arrival.

Last orders will be called at 10pm. 

COVID Regulations

As well as the 10.30pm close, please also be aware of the following:

  • There is a “two-hour dwell time” currently in place due to restrictions placed on us by the Scottish Government;
  • You must maintain at least a one-metre distance from other members and staff, but preferably two;
  • The one-way system remains in place and should be adhered to;
  • All sports should be booked in advance;
  • Face masks should be worn when moving around the Club, particularly when using the toilets and entering or leaving the Club;
  • You should preferably pay for sports and refreshments using our contactless payment system;
  • We ask that you continue to wash and sanitise your hands regularly;
  • You must ‘beep’ your fob every time you visit the Club (even if someone keeps the door open for you). If you don’t have a new fob, then please head to the ‘Fob Station’ at the Kiosk.

Subs

As mentioned previously, we are still looking for a few members to re-join. If this is you and you would like to pay ‘in person’ please note that I will be in the Club from 7pm until 9pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday in the weeks commencing 17th and 24th May.

The Subs ‘window’ will close on May 31st.

Direct Debit Payments

If you are on the DD scheme you may have noticed that we did not request the usual payment on 10th May?  This was deliberate due to us still being closed. We will restart it again in June!

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that we don’t have to close again!
